Scientists in Australia have said that it was a common
misconception that elderly people were the only ones at risk in a heatwave.
Children too are affected by heatwave. That’s shocking and can be dangerous not
only in Australia but for places like ours in India where heatwave is becoming
a deadly permanent disaster.
